Dean looked so alarmed when Casifer did the shoulder-touch thing, and maybe it was because it felt alien somehow. Didn’t bring the peace of mind it used to. And maybe he wondered if it’s the bond with Darkness that’s in the way. Or if he’s just that far gone that even Cas can’t help him now.
